Research students

The University has a research student program for persons who want to conduct specific research at a University department, the Center for Environmental Remote Sensing or the Research Center for Pathogenic Fungi and Microbial Toxicoses. The applicants are screened before entry. Research students are enrolled for a period of one year which may be extended.

Note that a degree, credits or other qualifications are not conferred upon completion of the research student program.

Application procedures

Those who wish to enroll as research students should contact the department six months before enrollment. They should then submit their school records in full and documents giving detailed information on fields of specialization, the type of research they want to conduct, their Japanese language proficiency (if any) and other pertinent information.
